Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

If you are a business enquiring about our services: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the seat you are interested in, your indicative turnover band, and whatever you tell us in the message field or on a call.

If you are a candidate: your contact details, work history, qualifications, test results, interview recordings, identity and background-check outcomes, and the information needed to employ or engage you.

Everyone who visits this website: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the links and phone numbers you click, how far you scroll, and the site or advertisement that referred you. See section 4.

2. Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, quote and provide our services, source and assess candidates, employ or engage the people we place, meet our legal and tax obligations, and measure and improve our advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

3. Who we disclose it to

We disclose personal information to:

• our employer-of-record and recruitment partners in the Philippines and South Africa, so that the people we place can be lawfully employed;
• our clients, where we send you to them as a candidate and you have agreed to that;
• the software providers that run our business — customer-relationship and email systems hosted in the United States, and website hosting in the United States and Singapore; and
• Meta Platforms — see section 4 — in the United States and Ireland.

These are cross-border disclosures for the purposes of Australian Privacy Principle 8. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, and under section 16C of the Privacy Act we generally remain accountable to you for their handling of it.

4. Cookies, tracking and advertising

This website uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies and records the pages you view, the phone and email links you click, how far you scroll, and whether you submit a form or book a call.

If you submit a form on this site, we also enable a Meta feature called Advanced Matching. This sends Meta a one-way scrambled version (a SHA-256 hash) of your email address, phone number and name so that Meta can recognise you as one of its account holders and tell us which advertisement led to your enquiry. Your email address, phone number and name are converted in your own browser before they are sent; we do not send Meta the plain-text values. A hash of this kind is still information about you, and we treat it as personal information.

We use this to measure which advertisements work and to reduce what we waste on those that do not. We do not use it to build a profile of you for any other purpose, and we do not upload customer lists to Meta.

How to opt out

• Adjust your Facebook and Instagram ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.
• Turn off tracking in your browser, or use a content blocker or private window. The site works normally with tracking blocked.
• Email us at admin@sourcetalent.com.au and ask us not to use your information for advertising measurement. We will action it and confirm.

5. Keeping it secure

We hold personal information in access-controlled systems, restrict it to the people who need it, and require the same of our overseas partners. We destroy or de-identify it when we no longer need it and are not required to keep it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop using it for advertising measurement, or complain about how we have handled it. Email admin@sourcetalent.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

7. Data breaches

If a breach of this information is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

8. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
